Symptoms of a Health Emergency

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Chronic coughing
  • Moves gingerly or cries out in pain
  • Unusually high or low body temperature
  • Very pale or very dark red gums
  • Panting heavily
  • Cannot stand or walk
  • Cannot pass stool or urine
  • Chronic diarrhea and/or vomiting
  • Not eating or drinking
  • Lethargic and unresponsive
  • Bleeding severely
  • Having seizures
  • Was just hit by a car, attacked, or fell from a height
  • Shows possible signs of broken bones
  • Abdomen is bloated and unusually firm
  • Blood in stool
